INGREDIENTS

  • 45ml Bunkers Single Malt Whisky
  • 30ml Stone’s Original Green Ginger Wine
  • Garnish: Candied ginger on a stick and/or a twist of lemon peel.

METHOD

  • Step 1

    Chill the glass by placing a rocks glass or an Old Fashioned glass in the freezer for a few minutes.

  • Step 2

    In a mixing glass or directly into the serving glass, pour 45ml single malt whisky and 30ml ginger wine for a balanced ratio. Adjust to taste.

  • Step 3

    For a smooth blend, stir the ingredients gently with ice in a mixing glass for about 10-15 seconds before straining into the serving glass.

    (Or build the drink directly in the glass over ice and let the flavours naturally blend).

  • Step 4

    Garnish with a thin slice of fresh ginger or a twist of lemon peel to enhance the aroma.
